We believe that storytelling satisfies our urge to make sense of things. Our stories explore universal themes, humanise issues and are aimed at touching the audience and making them think. We work with scripted content and documentaries as each story has its own unique way to heighten discourse on a myriad of subject matters .We love satirical language, surreal imagery and, in particular, the black comedy genre within the scripted film format. This genre heightens our existential quest for meaning and gives an understanding of life in all its oblique and magical forms. Through cinematic and impact driven documentaries we want to give a voice to the voiceless and create a bigger narrative around them to increase the potential for social change.Oxygene Films has produced short films and short docs and it is currently in post-production with a feature documentary and in development with a black comedy drama feature and a social justice feature documentary.
