CHI SIAMO

L’associazione culturale “Gli Angeli Terracina City Rockers” nasce per divulgare e promuovere la cultura a trecentosessanta gradi nel modo in cui da sempre lo facciamo in tutti i campi; artistico, pittorico, musicale, teatrale, letterario ed enogastronomico. Il nostro marchio di fabbrica è sempre stato organizzare eventi curando i minimi particolari. Abbiamo accumulato un’esperienza ventennale conquistata sul campo, sia progettando e realizzando centinaia di eventi, sia partecipando come spettatori a quelli organizzati da terzi. Abbiamo assistito a moltissimi concerti in Italia e in giro per il mondo.
Ci dedichiamo alla programmazione di convegni a tema, live musicali, reading di poesia, caccie al tesoro, presentazione di libri, eventi culinari, estemporanee di disegno e pittura, festival artistici e musicali e tanto altro.
L'immagine grafica del nostro logo rappresenta due coppie di ali sovrapposte e deriva dal fatto che i soci fondatori si chiamino Angelo e Angela, mentre City Rockers preceduto da Terracina, città sede dell’associazione, prende spunto dalla canzone Clash City Rockers, quinto singolo prodotto dalla band inglese, da qui il nome “Gli Angeli Terracina City Rockers” che darà l’impronta rock a tutti gli eventi che saranno organizzati.

IL PROGETTO

I Clash, the only band that matters, sono per noi fonte d'ispirazione e Joe Strummer, icona della ribellione intellettuale, è il nostro punto di riferimento. 
Per questo abbiamo deciso di dedicargli un grande evento in questo che sarebbe stato per lui il settantesimo anno di vita. Da molti anni ci spostiamo verso nord per partecipare ai vari raduni ed eventi della grande famiglia del mondo Clash e soprattutto ai tributi organizzati per ricordare il nostro idolo Joe.  Sottotetto, Estragon, Gallery16, Flog, sono solo una parte dei tanti locali che abbiamo raggiunto macinando km su km per ascoltare buona musica ma soprattutto per riabbracciare vecchi e nuovi amici. Questa volta però abbiamo deciso di farvi scendere da noi. Saremo lieti di ospitarvi tutti in quello che sarà il primo e unico evento del genere a sud di Roma e sicuramente uno degli appuntamenti imperdibili del 2022.

Il 20 agosto apriranno i GANG a seguire i Tupamaros, poi i Senzabenza chiuderanno gli Statuto

Il programma dettagliato verrà divulgato attraverso il nostro sito e sui nostri social.

A mezzanotte quando entreremo nel giorno in cui Joe Strummer avrebbe compiuto 70 anni, dei musicisti nostri ospiti, realizzeranno alcune sue canzoni.

Partecipando al crowdfunding, anche con una minima quota, sarete automaticamente accreditati alla partecipazione gratuita dell'evento.

Le ricompense saranno consegnate agli aventi diritto prima del concerto all'entrata de La valle del Benessere.
Se per qualsiasi motivo non sarete in grado di venirle a ritirare di persona, vi verranno inviate a partire dal giorno dopo l'evento con una piccola spesa aggiuntiva per la spedizione.

Il Festival musicale sarà realizzato seguendo il decreto e le linee guida per l'organizzazione di eventi che saranno in vigore in quel determinato periodo.

PROGETTO DEMETRA

Demetra è un’Associazione di Promozione Sociale con sede a Terracina, località San Silviano, che lavora sul territorio con l’obiettivo generale di contribuire alla creazione di esperienze professionali che valorizzino i giovani e le persone diversamente abili attraverso l’attuazione di progetti inclusivi e integrati.

Noi fondatori siamo una coppia che viene dal nord, senza figli e se a mio marito ciò che gli preme realizzare è poter progettare un futuro di lavoro per i giovani ,in particolare disabili, in una zona che ha poco da offrire ,per me che ho una salute  ballerina a spingermi è stata la necessità – che so per esperienza diretta essere non solo mia – di creare un “luogo di cura” non tanto farmacologica ma un posto in cui la persona e i suoi bisogni siano realmente condivisi ,come  una carezza sulla testa senza necessità di tante parole, in una visione olistica. La valle del Benessere appunto in cui si impara un lavoro o all’aperto  (governo degli animali, giardinaggio, agricoltura) o all’interno della struttura (pulizie, cucina, reception, segreteria) e dove una equipe di  professionisti e terapeuti altamente specializzati, in grado di garantire nello specifico servizi di psicoterapia, fisioterapia, logopedia, LIS, arti visive (e quindi altri posti di lavoro) si dedica ai vari ospiti, compresi coloro  desiderano ritrovarsi dopo aver combattuto una battaglia estenuante contro una malattia tiranna.

La struttura – che prevede anche una zona residenziale, una sala pranzo, un teatro, una piscina riabilitativa – può essere utilizzata come “colonia” per ragazzi disabili i cui genitori possono affidarli agli operatori e godersi delle meritate vacanze che quasi mai si concedono per non sapere a chi lasciare il proprio caro.

Fin’ora abbiamo realizzato percorsi inclusivi per le scuole medie e superiori spesso con scambi di ruoli nella classe. Abbiamo vinto un bando regionale insieme ad altre associazioni per due anni consecutivi che ci ha permesso di ottenere i fondi per le operatrici professionali impegnate nel laboratorio di trasformazione alimentare che Demetra ha  realizzato con le sole sue forze acquistando un macchinario di ultima generazione e tutto il resto dell’attrezzatura per rendere possibile l’utilizzo da parte dei nostri ragazzi speciali. Alla fine del progetto i ragazzi hanno ottenuto da parte nostra un “libretto di lavoro” con le mansioni svolte e ognuno di loro ha approntato un ricettario in base alle proprie esperienze.

Va sottolineato che in questo progetto il fine ultimo non era tanto insegnare un lavoro quanto avviarli ad una vita lavorativa in cui ci sono orari da rispettare per l’entrata e quindi organizzare il viaggio, andare a fare la spesa e contare il denaro, cucinare,  il rispetto delle norme igieniche, l’autonomia nel cambiarsi e pulire tutto il luogo di lavoro compreso attrezzi e macchinari e infine igienizzare  bagni e pavimenti. Questo ha notevolmente aumentato l’autonomia che sarà poi necessaria per il “dopo di noi” che è un nostro obiettivo.

In tutto questo si inserisce l’onoterapia, una pratica terapeutica attraverso il contatto e la relazione con i nostri asini Carletto, Isotta e Libera in compagnia di due dolcissimi labrador Tobia e Zoe.  Grazie alla loro preziosa presenza e ai riconosciuti benefici che le pratiche di trattamento assistito con gli animali contribuiscono ad apportare, potremmo attuare progetti di sostegno terapeuticorivolti a bambini ed anziani, audiolesi e non vedenti, malati psichiatrici, persone con disturbi di personalità, fino al trattamento dei disturbi alimentari, del sonno, del bullismo e disagio sociale.

Il progetto della Valle del Benessere è stato affidato ad uno studio specializzato in bio-edilizagrazie al quale abbiamo potuto elaborare un piano di costruzione che garantisca una struttura eco-sostenibile a bassissimo impatto ambientale, edificata con materiali naturali come legno e paglia.

Come si intuisce il progetto è sicuramente ambizioso perché ha come intento quello di conciliare bisogni di ragazzi speciali, potenziandone la capacità residua, di genitori preoccupati di chi si occuperà del loro caro quando dovranno lasciarlo, di giovani e professionisti in cerca di occupazione di livello il tutto in un ambiente salubre e sereno.

Noi abbiamo acquistato il terreno e approntato stalle e recinti, rendendolo accessibile anche a carrozzine. Abbiamo commissionato un progetto architettonico che renderebbe questo edificio di 1000 metri quadri unico in Italia per finalità e tecnica costruttiva.

Ora cerchiamo fondi per realizzarlo attraverso una rete di investitori o soci, pubblici e privati.  Non ci interessa apparire con il nostro nome, la priorità è la realizzazione della Valle del Benessere e crediamo che ci siano persone o enti facoltosi e sensibili ma non è facile raggiungerli con i nostri scarsi mezzi: aiutateci quindi a divulgarlo. WHO WE ARE

The cultural association "Gli Angeli Terracina City Rockers" is born to spread and promote culture at three hundred and sixty degrees in the way we have always done in all fields; artistic, pictorial, musical, theatrical, literary and food and wine. Our trademark has always been to organize events taking care of the smallest details. We have accumulated twenty years of experience gained in the field, both by designing and creating hundreds of events, and by participating as spectators in those organized by third parties. We have attended many concerts in Italy and all around the world.

We are dedicated to programming topic conferences, live music, poetry readings, treasure hunts, book presentations, culinary events, impromptu drawing and painting, artistic and musical festivals and much more.

The graphic image of our logo represents two couple of superimposed wings and derives from the fact that the founding members are called Angelo and Angela, while City Rockers preceded by Terracina, city seat of the association, is inspired by the song Clash City Rockers, fifth single product by the English band, hence the name “Gli Angeli Terracina City Rockers” which will give the rock imprint to all the events that will be organized.

THE PROJECT

The Clash, the only band that matters, are a source of inspiration for us and Joe Strummer, an icon of intellectual rebellion, is our point of reference.

This is why we decided to dedicate a great event to him in what would have been his seventieth year of life. For many years we have been moving north to participate in the various gatherings and events of the great family of the Clash world and above all in the tributes organized to remember our idol Joe. Sottotetto, Estragon, Gallery16, Flog, are onlya part of the many clubs that we have reached by grinding kms after kms to listen to good music but above all to embrace again old and new friends. This time, however, we have decided to let you come down with us. We will be happy to welcome you all in what will be the first and unique event of its kind in the south of Rome and certainly one of the unmissable events of 2022.

On August 20th in La Valle del Benessere at the Demetra association in Terracina we will set up a large stage where four fantastic groups and more will play.

THE CONCERT WILL BE REGARDLESS OF THE AIM OF THE OBJECTIVE. CLEARLY IT WILL BE APPROPRIATE TO THE COLLECTED SUM. IF WE ARE SUCCESSFUL, THANKS TO YOUR DONATIONS, TO REACH THE TARGET THAT WE HAVE CONCEIVED. THEN THE PROGRAM WILL BE COMPLETEs AS FOLLOWS:

The Gang will open, followed by Tupamaros the SenzaBenza and the Statuto but there will be certainly other surprises we are planning.

The detailed program will be disclosed through our website and on our social networks.

At midnight when we enter the day when Joe Strummer would have turned 70, some of our guest musicians will play some songs of him.

By participating in crowdfunding, even with a minimum fee, you will be automatically credited for the free participation in the event.

The rewards will be delivered to ones entitled before the concert at the entrance of the La Valle del Benessere location.

If for any reason you will be unable to collect them personally, they will be sent to you starting from the day after the event with a small additional cost for the sending.

The Music Festival will be carried out following the decree and the guidelines for the organization of events that will be in force in that specific period.

DEMETRA PROJECT

Demetra is an Association of Social Promotion located in Terracina, San Silviano area, working on the territory with the general aim of contributing to the creation of professional experiences that enhance young people and people with disabilities by means of the implementation of inclusive and integrated projects.

The founders are a couple who comes from North Italy, without children and if husband wants to achieve a future of work for young, especially disabled people, in an area that has little to offer, the child with a delicate health was pushed by the need to create a "place of cure" not only pharmacological but a place where the person and his needs will bereally shared, like a caress on the head without the need for many words, in a holistic view. The Valley of Wellness precisely where you learn a working experience, outdoors [animal management, gardening, agriculture]or inside the structure [cleaning, kitchen, reception, secretariat] and where a team of highly specialized professionals and therapists, areable to guarantee specifically psychotherapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, LIS, visual arts and therefore other jobs services, it dedicate itself to various guests, including those who wish to find themselves after having fought a exhausting battle against a tyrannical disease.

The structure - which also includes a residential area, a dining room, a theatre, a rehabilitation pool - can be used as a "colony" for disabled children whose parents can entrust them to operators and so enjoy well-deserved holidays that they never had becose they didn’t know where to leave their children.

So far we have created inclusive courses for primary and high schools, often with exchanges of roles in the classroom. We have won a regional ban together with other associations for two consecutive years which has allowed us to obtain funds for the professional workers involved in the food processing laboratory that Demetra has built with its own strength by purchasing a latest generation machinery and equipment to make it possible for our special kids.

 At the end of the project, the students obtain from us a "work book" with the performed tasks and each of them has prepared a recipe book based on their experiences.

It should be emphasized that in this project the ultimate goal was not so much to teach a job as to start them in a working life in which there are hours to be respected for the entry and therefore organize the trip, go shopping and count money, cooking, the compliance of hygiene rules, autonomy in dressing and cleaning the entire workplace including tools and machinery and finally sanitizing bathrooms and floors. This has significantly increased the autonomy that will then be necessary for the "after us" which is our goal.

Onotherapy is part of all this, a therapeutic practice by means of contact and relationship with our donkeys Carletto, Isotta and Libera in the company of two mild Labradors Tobia and Zoe. Thanks to their precious presence and the recognized benefits of animal treatment practices contribute to bring, we could implement therapeutic support projects aimed for children and the more aged, hearing - impaired and blind ones, psychiatric patients, people with personality disorders, till to eating, sleeping, bullying disorders and social distress.

The Valle del Benessere project was entrusted to a studio specializing in bio-construction thanks to which we were able to draw up a construction plan that guarantees an eco-sustainable structure with a very low environmental impact, built with natural materials such as wood and straw.

As you can imagine, the project is ambitious because it aims to reconcile the needs of special children, enhancing their residual capacity to the needs of parents worried about who will take care of their loved one when they will have to leave them.

Then young people and professionals looking for employment at the highest level all in a healthy and serene environment, will be employed.

We bought the land and prepared stables and fences, making it accessible to wheelchairs as well. We have commissioned an architectural project that would make this 1000 square meter building unique in Italy in terms of purpose and construction techniques.

Now we are looking for funds to realize it thanks to a network of public and private investors or partners, We are not interested in appearing with our name, the priority is the creation of the Valley of Wellness and we believe that there are wealthy associations and sensitive people.
