Salve a tutti,

il mio nome è Kevin Vescera e sono un regista e sceneggiatore. Nuovamente mi ritrovo a chiedere un supporto tramite crowdfunding per sostenere il mio nuovo progetto dal titolo "MALAFEDE". Il cortometraggio in sé nasce come un'intera citazione al cinema e all'ideologia di Aki Kaurismäki, grandioso cineasta di origine Finlandese.

SINOSSI

Oliver è un giovane uomo sposato che, poco dopo aver comprato un fiore per il compleanno della moglie, per una ragione che non riesce a spiegarsi, nota che la propria fede nuziale si è allargata e non gli sta più al dito scivolandogli costantemente. Nel corso del cortometraggio cercherà una soluzione al problema con vari incontri prima di ricongiungersi con sua moglie.

MISSION

MALAFEDE, essendo ispirato al lavoro del cineasta in questione, cerca di avvicinarsi alla sua poetica con le caratteristiche che tanto contraddistinguono il suo cinema, ovvero: personaggi di una profonda sensibilità ma visibilmente distaccati, un umorismo sottile nei dialoghi che va sempre oltre le semplici parole, costanti metafore sul modo di vivere dell'essere umano. Esso si propone, se posso permettermi questa similitudine, come una piccola fiaba moderna (ma non troppo). Potrebbe essere difficile dire se questa storia sia ambientata ai giorni d'oggi o negli anni settanta, ad esempio. Mi piacerebbe, appunto, creare una "favola" immortale e senza tempo di definizione.

Ringrazio in anticipo chiunque avesse voglia di sostenere questa idea e questo progetto anche con una piccola partecipazione. 

LA MIA IDEA

Uno dei miei pensieri al riguardo, sempre per essere vicino alla cultura di Aki Kaurismäki, è di mantenere l'interno progetto low budget per la semplicità della sua messa in scena. Una scelta voluta proprio da quello che mi hanno lasciato i film e la cultura del cineasta in cui una storia è bella per come è scritta e per quel che ti lascia piuttosto che per la qualità con cui è girata. Se bisogna seguire Aki bisogna farlo fino alla fine. 

Proprio per questo, anche e soprattutto ai miei colleghi che leggeranno questa descrizione, resto anche aperto a collaborazioni per creare una piccola troupe dinamica e volenterosa di portare avanti questo progetto insieme a me con passione e curiosità. (in tal caso, potete contattarmi per visionare privatamente la sceneggiatura e valutare la cosa)

QUANDO E DOVE

In caso di successo, la riprese dovrebbero aver luogo a Roma nel mese di Marzo 2024. Difatti, mentre la campagna di crowdfunding va avanti, verranno effettuati i casting e la ricerca delle location.

I fondi raccolti verranno utilizzati principalmente per:

Hello everyone,

my name is Kevin Vescera and I am a filmmaker and screenwriter. Once again I find myself asking for support through crowdfunding to support my new project titled "MALAFEDE." The short film itself began as an entire citation to the cinema and ideology of Aki Kaurismäki, a great filmmaker of Finnish origin.

SYNOPSIS

Oliver is a young married man who, shortly after buying a flower for his wife's birthday, for a reason he cannot explain, notices that his own wedding ring has widened and no longer fits on his finger, constantly slipping off. Over the course of the short film he will seek a solution to the problem with various encounters before reuniting with his wife.

MISSION

MALAFEDE, being inspired by the work of the filmmaker in question, tries to approach his poetics with the characteristics that so distinguish his cinema, namely: characters of a deep sensitivity but visibly detached, a subtle humor in the dialogues that always goes beyond mere words, constant metaphors about the way of life of the human being. It presents itself, if I may permit myself this simile, as a little modern (but not too much) fairy tale. It might be difficult to say whether this story is set in the present day or in the 1970s, for example. I would like, precisely, to create an immortal and timeless "fairy tale" of definition.

MY IDEA

One of my thoughts in this regard, again to be close to the culture of Aki Kaurismäki, is to keep the internal project low budget because of the simplicity of its staging. A deliberate choice precisely because of what the films and the culture of the filmmaker left me with where a story is beautiful because of how it is written and what it leaves you with rather than the quality with which it is shot. If you have to follow Aki you have to follow it to the end. 

For this very reason, also and especially to my colleagues who will read this description, I also remain open to collaborations to create a small dynamic and willing crew to pursue this project with me with passion and curiosity. WHEN AND WHERE

If successful, filming should take place in Rome in March 2024. In fact, as the crowdfunding campaign goes on, casting and location scouting will be carried out.

Location;
Cast and crew expenses
