Precisamente, come saranno utilizzate le donazioni?

IL  70 % delle donazioni qui inviate, saranno destinate all'acquisizione e concessione di terra amazzonica Peruviana a rischio deforestazione e una parte per supportare le comunità locali limitrofe.

IL 30% delle donazioni qui inviate, saranno destinate alla realizzazione delle 2 date del festival musicale anno 2019 (13 aprile a Pisac Perù e 12 Ottobre a Bologna, già realizzati) e al sostegno delle 2 spedizioni di volontariato in amazzonia anno 2019 / 2020

Qual è la Panoramica dove si inserisce questo Festival Benefico? 

SOS AMAZôNIA BENEFIT FESTIVAL è un progetto socio ecologico e musicale, che attraverso la musica e la spiritualità ancestrale, risveglia le coscienze.

Attiva una rete di volontariato operativo in loco, per azioni sociali ed ecologiche come la protezione di terre e alberi in Amazzonia Peruviana e piantagione di alberi.

A differenza di altri festival che sono fini a se stessi, SOS AMAZôNIA BENEFIT FESTIVAL si manifesta anche nelle cerimonie, concerti (2 volte all’anno Italia & Perù) e nei rituali ancestrali per preservare le culture native.

Chi decide di sostenere il progetto attraverso un contributo economico (con il crowdfounding) farà parte di una comunità internazionale che non solo viaggia per scopi spirituali, ma che contribuisce attivamente all’equilibrio di tutto il pianeta.

Decidendo di sostenere questo progetto attraverso un contributo economico da questa pagina diventerai Supporter, Super Supporter, Genitore, Fondatore, Fondatore Attivista e Main Sponsors e fari parte di una comunità internazionale che non solo viaggia per scopi spirituali, ma che contribuisce attivamente all’equilibrio di tutto il pianeta.

Ok, qual è la situazione Attuale? 

Dopo la prima fase di selezione diretta da Vanessa Catta Solinas, Olivieri Lorenzo e Jacopo Tabanelli i proprietari terrieri delle prime terre selezionate hanno cambiate notevolmente le condizioni di acquisto e concessione del terreno.

Per questo motivo stiamo decidendo di cambiare zona dove il terreno ha dei prezzi minori, con il fine di proteggere più Amazzonia possibile.

Questo cambiamento, ci ha messo di fronte a numerose altre buone possibilità, come quella di prendere direttamente in concessione delle terre da proteggere.

Quindi abbiamo dovuto cambiare direzione in marcia,cambiando il territorio da proteggere, siamo sempre in ottimi rapporti con Novalis, con i quali continuiamo a collaborare con i volontati e l'educazione ambientali con le piante medicinali locali. 

Questo chiaro taglio è la classica storia sulla deforestazione in Amazzonia. Quello che probabilmente avete letto su riviste, o visto in TV o su Internet.

Di cosa stiamo parlando?

...degli allevatori di bestiame e dei trafficanti di legname.

La realtà dell'allevamento di bestiame e trafficanti di legname in Amazzonia è che:

1) Deforesta l'Amazzonia;
2) Uccide il suolo e rende sterile un paesaggio un tempo florido;
3) Rende Sterile la terra dopo un breve periodo di tempo, e quindi ha bisogno di deforestare altra terra per contiuare l'allevamento.

Vogliamo evitare questo tipo di risultati nelle foreste vicino dove lavoriamo e in tutta l'Amazzonia!

Cosa significa allevare bestiame in Amazzonia?

Biodiversità a Rischio dai Tagli di Alberi

La foresta pluviale amazzonica è biologicamente diversa, al di là di ciò che la maggior parte della gente realizza. E nell'attuale crisi ecologica del mondo, c'è assoluto bisogno che le persone realizzino che il nostro futuro dipende da queste foreste.

L'Amazzonia non è un posto per allevare animali! 

Il primo anno dopo che un rancher ha ripulito la foresta, e poi la brucia, c'è una buona nutrizione nel pascolo delle erbe tropicali che ricrescono rapidamente. Ma in anni di ripetizione di questo ciclo sullo stesso appezzamento di terreno, lo strato di terreno vegetale si esaurisce completamente e diventa un terreno povero per il pascolo delle mucche. Presto il contadino abbandona la terra.

La biodiversità è persa. Il terriccio è influenzato negativamente. E la foresta primaria scompare.

Nella maggior parte dei casi, secoli di copertura forestale sono andati persi solo per un decennio di attività agricola.

Considerazioni per la società amazzonica

Per milioni di persone che vivono in Amazzonia l'agricoltura pulita è un importante sostegno sia per il reddito giornaliero che per i pasti quotidiani, ed è anche uno dei principali fattori di perdita di foresta nelle regioni amazzoniche. Oltre l'80% della perdita di foresta in Amazzonia è dovuta all'attività di allevamento.

I fattori chiave della deforestazione sono il pascolo, le terre coltivate e la speculazione terriera. 

Cosa faremo appena arrivati all'obiettivo ?

Questa campagna crowdfunding consiste nell'acquistare o prendere in concessione legalmente da parte di SOS AMAZôNIA BENEFIT FESTIVAL e nel possedere il maggior numero possibile di terreni che possano proteggere lìAmazzonia Peruviana. Il nostro obiettivo è creare un corridoio verde e una barriera verde attorno all'area deforestata.

Come organizzazione profondamente impegnata sia per la conservazione delle foreste che per gli esseri umani che vivono qui, comprendiamo che i nostri vicini debbano avere un reddito. Ci sono diversi modi per farlo, tuttavia, e l'allevamento di bovini chiari in Amazzonia è un'impresa insostenibile, in particolare il modo in cui lo vediamo ora.

La nostra posizione è la seguente:

1) Condividiamo le nostre scoperte empiriche e le nostre prospettive attraverso i social media e internet, in modo che altri possano connettersi a questo movimento di re-forestazione e protezione influenzato a livello globale.

Offriamo supporto attraverso l'alleanza, l'introduzione di sistemi sostenibili e la collaborazione nello sviluppo di nuove attività economiche che li allontanino dalla deforestazione. 

3) Il 70 % delle entrate di questo crowdfounding saranno destinati ad acquistare, preservare e reforestare una parte di questo corridoio verde amazzonico.

4) Con il 30% delle entrate di questo crowdfounding, organizziamo festival musicali e culturali 2 volte all'anno in Perù e Italia per sensibilizzare la coscienza dell'umanità su questi temi così fondamentali in questo momento storico.

5) Organizziamo spedizioni di volontari 2 volte all'anno per supportare questa missione direttamente in Amazzonia Peruviana.

Questi sono i fatti!

... noi esseri umani dobbiamo continuare a proteggere le foreste primarie e fare tutto il possibile per preservare la copertura e la qualità di queste, bonificare foreste frammentate e degradate e mantenere l'Amazzonia; i polmoni del pianeta, VERDE.

Cosa sta accadendo alla foresta pluviale?

• La foresta pluviale amazzonica si estende per 670 milioni di ettari
• Tra 90-140 miliardi di tonnellate di carbonio sono immagazzinate nelle foreste amazzoniche
• 34 milioni di persone vivono in Amazzonia e dipendono dalle sue risorse
• Le perdite di foreste nel bioma amazzonico hanno raggiunto una media di 1,4 milioni di ettari all'anno tra il 2001 e il 2012, con una perdita totale di 17,7 milioni di ettari, principalmente in Brasile, Perù e Bolivia
• Se le tendenze attuali continuano, la deforestazione potrebbe raddoppiare a 48 milioni di ettari tra il 2010 e il 2030, il che significa che più di un quarto del bioma amazzonico sarebbe privo di alberi.

Possiamo dire con molta fiducia che la scienza del clima è d'accordo, la scienza ecologica è d'accordo, e le società indigene basate sulla foresta concordano sul fatto che eliminare in modo chiaro la foresta pluviale in Amazzonia è sicuramente qualcosa da evitare se non viene fermato del tutto.

Quindi, come possiamo salvare questo corridoio amazzonico dalla deforestazione?

QUALI SONO I NOSTRI RISULTATI?

Conservazione

Cessazione formale e ritiro degli ordini dati a tre squadre di minatori illegali e informali che operano all'interno delle nostre terre.
L'immobilizzazione e il sequestro di tronchi di legno ottenuti illegalmente dalla terra.
Cessazione formale e ritiro degli ordini per il disboscamento illegale, dove centinaia di ettari di foreste primarie sono state trasformate in terreni destinati ad attività agricole.
Prevenzione della caccia illegale mantenendo la nostra presenza nella foresta ed essendo vigili nei confronti degli intrusi.
Acquisti strategici di terreni per formare le cinture verdi per prevenire future cancellazioni e disboscamenti per l'allevamento del bestiame.

Crescita Culturale basata sulla comunità e Iniziative di educazione ambientale sostenibile

Lavorare con piante medicinali per il benessere
Esecuzione di programmi di immersione nella natura per tutte le età e sfondi, offrendo spazio per un massimo di 20 persone.
Riduzione al minimo dell'impatto sul sito attraverso la stabilizzazione del suolo, la riduzione dei rifiuti, il trattamento delle acque reflue e il mantenimento della copertura forestale. Usiamo un guadagno per nuovi progetti di costruzione o collaboriamo con partner del legno che usano principi ecologici per la raccolta.

SOS AMAZONIA BENEFIT FESTIAL èuna piattaforma in cui le persone possono venire a fare esperienza e imparare a conoscenza cos'è l'Amazzonia. È anche un'opportunità per ospiti, ricercatori, creativi e insegnanti di immergersi nella diversità del lavoro che noi, come organizzazione, prendiamo parte insieme alle nostre relazioni indigene e all'ecosistema della foresta pluviale, sia come residenti a breve termine che come visitatori.

Nel 2019 abbiamo ricevuto numerosi volontari e ospiti che desiderano unirsi ai nostri sforzi. Per soddisfare le crescenti esigenze del nostro centro, stiamo costruendo più alloggi comuni per continuare a ospitare più visitatori, volontari e ricercatori. E continueremo ad espandere la nostra programmazione.

Stiamo approfondendo le nostre relazioni con i singoli membri indigeni fornendo supporto, orientamento e gestione collaborativa per implementare soluzioni sostenibili alle sfide che devono affrontare da attività quali l'estrazione illegale, l'esistenza di imprese sociali redditizie, la conservazione culturale, i progetti creativi e l'istruzione.

Roberto Yui è il nostro collaboratore e amico Shipibo che viene a offrire e impartire le sue tradizioni di medicina vegetale durante i nostri ritiri. In questa foto sta parlando della conservazione culturale nelle comunità Shipibo. È un agente attivo per il cambiamento nella sua comunità di San Francisco a Pucallpa e insegna anche ai giovani indigeni. Siamo onorati di lavorare con lui.

Ok, what is the current situation?

After the first selection phase directed by Vanessa Catta Solinas, Olivieri Lorenzo and Jacopo Tabanelli the landowners of the first selected lands have changed the conditions of purchase and concession of the land considerably.

For this reason we are deciding to change areas where the land has lower prices, in order to protect as much Amazonia as possible.

This change has put us in front of numerous other good possibilities, such as that of taking the lands to be protected directly in concession.

So we had to change direction in gear, changing the territory to be protected, we are always on excellent terms with Novalis, with whom we continue to collaborate with volunteers and environmental education with local medicinal plants.

What are we talking about?

... of cattle ranchers and timber traffickers.

The reality of breeding cattle and timber smugglers in the Amazon is that:

1) Deforest the Amazon;
2) It kills the soil and makes a once flourishing landscape sterile;
3) It makes the land Sterile after a short period of time, and therefore it needs to deforest other land to keep the breeding.

We want to avoid this kind of results in the forests near where we work and all over the Amazon!

What does it mean to raise cattle in the Amazon?

Biodiversity at Risk from Tree Cuts

The Amazon rainforest is biologically different, beyond what most people realize. And in the current ecological crisis of the world, there is an absolute need for people to realize that our future depends on these forests.

The Amazon is not a place to raise animals!

The first year after a rancher has cleaned the forest, and then burns it, there is good nutrition in the pasture of rapidly growing tropical grasses. But in years of repetition of this cycle on the same piece of land, the layer of vegetable soil is completely exhausted and becomes a poor soil for grazing cows. Soon the farmer leaves the land.

Biodiversity is lost. The soil is negatively affected. And the primary forest disappears.

In most cases, centuries of forest cover have been lost for only a decade of agricultural activity.

Considerations for the Amazonian society

For millions of people living in the Amazon clean agriculture is an important support for both daily income and daily meals, and is also one of the main factors of forest loss in the Amazon regions. Over 80% of the forest loss in the Amazon is due to breeding activity.

The key factors of deforestation are grazing, cultivated lands and land speculation.

What will we do when we get to the goal?

This crowdfunding campaign consists of buying or legally granting by SOS AMAZôNIA BENEFIT FESTIVAL and owning as many land as possible to protect Peruvian Amazon. Our goal is to create a green corridor and a green barrier around the deforested area.

As a deeply committed organization for both forest conservation and human beings living here, we understand that our neighbors should have an income. There are different ways to do this, however, and breeding clear cattle in the Amazon is an unsustainable undertaking, particularly the way we see it now.

Our position is as follows:

1) We share our empirical discoveries and our perspectives through social media and the internet, so that others can connect to this movement of re-forestation and protection influenced globally.

2) We constantly engage with our neighboring communities that are also experiencing the effects of breeding and deforestation. We offer support through the alliance, the introduction of sustainable systems and collaboration in the development of new economic activities that distance them from deforestation.

3) 70% of the revenue of this crowdfounding will be used to buy, preserve and reforest part of this Amazon green corridor.

4) With 30% of the revenue of this crowdfounding, we organize music and cultural festivals twice a year in Peru and Italy to raise awareness of humanity on these fundamental issues at this historical moment.

5) We organize volunteer shipments twice a year to support this mission directly in the Peruvian Amazon.

These are the facts!

... we human beings must continue to protect the primary forests and do everything possible to preserve the coverage and quality of these, clean up fragmented and degraded forests and maintain the Amazon; the lungs of the planet, GREEN.

What is happening to the rainforest?

• The Amazon rain forest covers 670 million hectares
• Between 90-140 billion tons of carbon are stored in the Amazon forests
• 34 million people live in the Amazon and depend on its resources
• Forest losses in the Amazon biome reached an average of 1.4 million hectares per year between 2001 and 2012, with a total loss of 17.7 million hectares, mainly in Brazil, Peru and Bolivia
• If current trends continue, deforestation could double to 48 million hectares between 2010 and 2030, which means that more than a quarter of the Amazon biome would be devoid of trees.

We can confidently say that climate science agrees, ecological science agrees, and indigenous forest-based societies agree that clearing the rainforest in the Amazon is definitely something to be avoided if not is stopped completely.

Community-based Cultural Growth and Sustainable Environmental Education Initiatives

Working with medicinal plants for wellness
Execution of immersion programs in the nature for all ages and backgrounds, offering space for up to 20 people.
Minimization of the impact on the site through soil stabilization, waste reduction, wastewater treatment and maintenance of forest cover. We use a profit for new construction projects or we collaborate with wood partners who use ecological principles for the collection.

Our future initiatives and some final words

SOS AMAZONIA BENEFIT FESTIAL is a platform where people can come to experience and learn about what the Amazon is. It is also an opportunity for guests, researchers, creatives and teachers to immerse themselves in the diversity of work that we, as an organization, take part in along with our indigenous relationships and the rainforest ecosystem, both as short-term residents and as visitors.

In 2019 we received numerous volunteers and guests who wish to join our efforts. To meet the growing needs of our center, we are building more common housing to continue to accommodate more visitors, volunteers and researchers. And we will continue to expand our programming.

We are deepening our relations with individual indigenous members by providing support, guidance and collaborative management to implement sustainable solutions to the challenges they face from activities such as illegal mining, the existence of profitable social enterprises, cultural conservation, creative projects and education.

Roberto Yui is our collaborator and friend Shipibo who comes to offer and impart his traditions of plant medicine during our retreats. In this photo he is talking about cultural conservation in the Shipibo communities. He is an active agent for change in his San Francisco community in Pucallpa and also teaches young indigenous people. We are honored to work with him.

Our unique organization is dedicated to making a significant and long-term impact on the land that we administer and the adjacent communities that call the house of the Amazons since time immemorial.
