Chi\Who

IT: Chi siamo? Siamo Thimoty (32 anni piemontese) e Claudio (62 anni veneto) e siamo due appassionati di trekking e della natura. La nostra amicizia è nata il primo giorno del Cammino Francese di Santiago nel 2019. Da allora abbiamo camminato tanto insieme riscoprendo nei nostri viaggi terre abbandonate e persone meravigliose. Quest'estate faremo un altro lungo cammino ed abbiamo pensato di renderlo non solo un'esperienza indimenticabile ma anche utile. Entrambi crediamo fermamente nell'importanza di fare qualcosa per il nostro pianeta ed è da qui che nasce il progetto Tree-kking.

EN: Who are we? We are Thimoty (32 years old from Piemonte) and Claudio (62 years old from Veneto) and we are two trekking and nature lovers. Our friendship was born on the first day of the French Way to Santiago in 2019. Since then we have walked a lot together, discovering abandoned lands and wonderful people in our travels. This summer we will do another long journey and we have decided to live not only an unforgettable experience but also a useful one. We both firmly believe in the importance of doing something for our planet and this is where the Tree-kking project was born.

Progetto\Project

IT: Qual è il nostro progetto? Il nostro obiettivo è semplicissimo ma allo stesso tempo molto difficile: vogliamo riuscire a piantare 1 albero per ogni km che faremo a piedi e per riuscirci avremo bisogno del maggior sostegno possibile. Se dovessimo completare tutto il cammino che abbiamo pensato potremmo fare 1200 km a piedi. Per poter piantare 1200 alberi dovremmo raccogliere una cifra superiore ai 20 mila euro. E' una somma importante ma se mai riuscissimo ad arrivare all'obiettivo faremmo la differenza
LOOK: se dovessimo arrivare a 1000 alberi il nostro partner WOWNature contribuirà aggiungendo altri 100 alberi!!!

EN: What is our project? Our goal is very simple but at the same time very difficult: we want to plant 1 tree for every km we walk and to do so we will need as much support as possible.
If we had to complete the entire way we thought we would do, we could do 1200 km on foot. To be able to plant 1,200 trees, we would have to raise an amount of over 20,000 euros. It is an important amount but if we ever managed to reach the goal we would make the difference
LOOK: if we reach 1000 trees, our partner WOWNature will contribute by adding another 100 trees !!!

IT: Dove verranno piantati gli alberi? Attualmente abbiamo deciso di partecipare attivamente al progetto di WowNature in Val di Fiemme che è stata devastata nel 2018 a causa di venti anomali. C'è veramente tantissimo da fare ed il numero di alberi impattati è molto alto.

EN: Where will the trees be planted? Currently we have decided to actively participate in the WowNature project in Val di Fiemme which was devastated in 2018 due to anomalous winds. There is really a lot to do and the number of impacted trees is very high.

IT: Quale sarà il percorso? Il 30 Luglio 2022 partiremo da Faro che è la punta sud del Portogallo. L'obiettivo è di arrivare a Santiago o anche a Finisterre facendo un cammino lunghissimo che attraverserà il Portogallo in tutta la sua interezza ed un pezzo di Spagna. Uniremo diversi cammini che ci prenderanno un mese abbondante di viaggio, in alcuni punti dovremo inventarci una via siccome non saremo su nessun cammino ufficiale.

Cammino Portoghese: 357 km
Variante per Fatima: 88 km
Variante Espiritual: 45 km
Senda Litoral: 196 km
Cammino per Finisterre: 120 km
Cammino da inventare :) : 200 km senza un cammino tracciato
Durante tutto il cammino parleremo del progetto anche alle centinaia di persone che incontreremo per sensibilizzarli sul cambiamento climatico e su quanto sia importante investire nel nostro futuro partendo dagli alberi.

EN: What will the way be? On July 30, 2022 we will start from Faro which is the southest city of Portugal. The goal is to get to Santiago or even to Finisterre by taking a very long journey that will cross all the Portugal and a piece of Spain. We will combine different ways that will take us in a full month of travel, in some points we will have to invent a road because we will not walk in any official pilgrim way

Planning

IT: Come sarà organizzato il cammino? Io e Claudione cerchiamo di vivere sempre i cammini come un'esperienza di totale libertà e senza vincoli. Non abbiamo prenotato alcun ostello e non sappiamo quanti km al giorno faremo..l'unica certezza sarà la strada davanti a noi. Le più grandi incertezze sono i tratti di strada in cui non faremo un cammino ufficiale e la possibilità di trovare un posto per dormire essendo altissima stagione. Abbiamo già messo in conto la possibilità di dover dormire all'aperto in caso fosse tutto pieno.

EN: How will the travel be organized? Claudione and I always try to live the Cammino as an experience of total freedom and without constraints. We have not booked any hostel and we do not know how many km we will do in a day .. the only certainty will be the road in front of us. The biggest uncertainties are the parts of road where we will not make an official Cammino and the possibility of finding a place to sleep since it is very high season. We have already taken into account the possibility of having to sleep outside in case everything is full.

Risultato\Result

IT: Come vedere il risultato della raccolta? Alla fine della raccolta pubblicheremo su tutti i social i dettagli del ricavato, delle commissioni pagate al portale e verranno mostrate tutte le pezze giustificative dell'acquisto degli alberi attraverso il sito WOWNature (wownature.com). A chi ha contribuito arriverà anche una mail ed in base al contributo avrà degli alberi con il suo nome! Verrà organizzata anche una giornata per poter incontrarsi e piantare insieme gli alberi che avremo contribuito a piantare!

EN: How to see the result of the campaign? At the end of the collection we will publish on all social networks the details of the proceeds, the commissions paid to the portal and all the documents supporting the purchase of the trees through the WOWNature website (wownature.com). Those who have contributed will also receive an email and based on the contribution they will receive their own tree! A day will also be organized to plant with all contributors the trees that we have helped to buy together!

Rewards

IT:Ci sarnno delle ricompense? Ogni albero costa in media sui 23-24 euro. Possiamo quindi comprare un albero a tuo nome solo per donazioni superiori ai 24 euro. Ovviamente chiunque contribuisce con quanto e come può, il nostro traguardo è molto ambizioso e per questo chiediamo il massimo sostegno da parte di tutti (per 1200 alberi servono all'incirca 25 mila euro). I nostri livelli di rewards, che descrivono quanto tu sia attivo in ambito ambientale, sono i seguenti:

• Inferiore ad 1 albero: Giovane Marmotta
• 1 albero (donazione di 24 euro): Giretto in centro?
• 2 alberi (donazione di 48 euro): Camminatore della domenica
• 3 alberi (donazione di 72 euro): Piccolo esploratore
• 4 alberi (donazione di 96 euro): Escursionista con zainetto
• 5 alberi (donazione di 120 euro): Wild Pellegrino 
• > 5 alberi: Master of camminata

EN: Will there be any rewards? Each tree costs around 23-24 euros. We can therefore buy a tree in your name only for donations over 24 euros.
