IL PROGETTO

‘DAMMI UNA MANO’ vuole essere una ‘commedia in tempo di crisi’, che interpreta in modo nuovo il genere cinematografico della commedia contestualizzandolo nel particolare momento storico che stiamo vivendo. Una commedia che possa essere accessibile a tutti e rispondere alla richiesta di evasione dai problemi e dalle preoccupazioni quotidiane, ma che allo stesso tempo offra spunti di riflessione divertita e disincantata su quanto stiamo vivendo, e su come il cambiamento necessario trova condizione ed interpreti originali nella normalità straordinaria delle nostre esistenze.

Positività, autenticità, spirito di adattamento e solidarietà sono i veri protagonisti della commedia che racconta di un realtà di “normalità” infranta.


La trama

Caterina è una giovane e affermata psicologa. La sua vita è perfetta: amore, lavoro, famiglia, amicizie sono tutto quello che lei desidera. Ma un giorno qualcosa inizia a minacciare la sua beata (e forse incosciente) esistenza. Il marito la molla.
Uno scandalo di provincia le infanga la credibilità e le strappa via il lavoro.
Il padre muore lasciandola piena di debiti a causa di una sorella minore che ha polverizzato il patrimonio di famiglia. Così per la prima volta Caterina si trova a ricominciare tutto. Da zero. A reinventarsi e reinventare una vita diversa da quella che ha sempre difeso e amato. E …sorpresa... dopo una rocambolesca ed esilarante serie di accadimenti, scoprirà che la forza più grande che ha è quella di non fermarsi mai, ma di rimanere in movimento, di rialzarsi ogni volta appoggiandosi anche a quelle persone, come la fragile sorella Viola, che aveva sempre pensato di dover sostenere.
Un percorso costellato di personaggi comico-patologici che incarnano vizi e virtù della società di oggi. Società veloce caotica, competitiva ed esibizionista, ma anche generosa, sincera, perché no, buona. Una commedia che vive di equivoci e situazioni paradossali che nascono, crescono e si alimentano nell’ambiente di provincia, un microcosmo che diventa l’ osservatorio privilegiato di una quotidiana umanità.

THE PROJECT

'GIVE ME A HAND' wants to be a 'comedy in times of crisis', which plays in a new way the film genre of comedy contextualizing it in the particular historical moment in which we are living.

Positivity, authenticity, adaptability and togetherness are the real stars of the comedy.


THE PLOT

Catherine is a young and established psychologist. Her life is perfect: love, work, family, friendships. She has everything she wants. But one day something begins to threaten her blessed (and perhaps unconscious) existence. Her husband leaves her.
Also a scandal in her working environment is there to ruin her life and risks the job.
Iter father dies leaving her deeply in debt due to a younger sister who has squandered the family fortune. So for the first time Caterina is to start all over again. From scratch. She will have to reinvent a life different from the one that has always protected and loved. And ... surprise ... after a daring and hilarious series of events, she discovers that the greatest strength she has it is to never stop, but to stay on the move, to get up every time leaning even to those people, such as the fragile sister, Viola, who had always thought to incur.
A path full of comic-pathological characters who embody the virtues and vices of society today. Company chaotic fast, competitive and exhibitionist, but also generous, sincere, and perhaps,even good. A comedy that thrives on misunderstandings and paradoxical situations that are born, they grow and feed in the environment of the community, a microcosm becomes the 'vantage point of an everyday humanity’.
