Il road movie prende il titolo da un'antica profezia quechua, una leggenda molto potente nota appunto come: La profecía del Águila y del Cóndor” . Il film scritto e diretto da Germano Di Mattia, sarà un viaggio all'insegna dell'evoluzione e della presa di coscienza, nel cuore dei regni della spiritualità più antica del mondo, con una particolare attenzione verso il Sudamerica. Il ritorno dell'equilibrio, rappresentato dall'Aquila e dal Condor, aprirà le porte ai misteri e ad un nuova Terra, per camminare verso i nostri sogni.

Né il popolo dell’Aquila, né il popolo del Condor, potranno sopravvivere da soli. Questo è stato il messaggio che i nostri nonni ci hanno dato al nord e al sud. Il messaggio dei nostri avi è come un mandato in questi tempi difficili. Ma secondo la profezia, tutto ciò sta per cambiare.  

Si el Águila y el Cóndor volverán a volar de nuevo juntos, ala con ala, el mundo encontrarà su equilibrio. Ni el pueblo de L'Aquila, ni la gente del Cóndor, pueden sobrevivir por su cuenta. Este fue el mensaje que nuestros abuelos nos dieron sobre el norte y el sur del Mundo. El mensaje de nuestros antepasados es como una orden en estos tiempos difíciles. Pero de acuerdo con la profecía, todo está a punto de cambiar.

La gran parte del docufilm verrà girata in Perù, nell’area del Lago Titicaca, Cuzco, Puno, Macchu Picchu e la Valle degli Spiriti.

La mayor parte de la película documental se rodará en Perú, en el Lago Titicaca, Cuzco, Puno, Machu Picchu y el Valle de los Espíritus.

In Italia le riprese saranno effettuate nella città dell'Aquila in Abruzzo e nella sua provincia.

Il dvd finale del film prevede dei contenuti speciali come il back stage del film, e degli extra con interviste di ricercatori e studiosi in ambito spirituale e scientifico. Nello sciamanesimo la guarigione spirituale della persona era ed é il presupposto della guarigione psicofisica; a quest’idea-obiettivo dobbiamo tornare oggi con il concetto di medicina olistica. Il cd prevede invece la colonna sonora del film con le canzoni.

The Prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor

The character of the documentary film "The Prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor" takes its title from an ancient prophecy Quechua. Written and directed by the Italian director Germano Di Mattia, the documentary film is inspired by the ancient legends of the Quechua people and the books of the Peruvian writer Hernan Huarache Mamani, and will be a journey into the evolution of consciousness, respecting, in feeling and in the heart of the kingdoms the oldest spirituality of the planet Earth. A trip that will start from the exact center of Italy, the Marsica and the province, to finish in the Andean lands of South America. The new beginning balance, represented from the Eagle and the Condor, will open its doors to the mysteries and a new earth, walking toward our dreams.

People who follow "the Eagle" are highly intellectual and oriented toward science and rationality. The "Condor" People are very intuitive and focused on life in harmony with nature. The meeting between these two worlds and different ways of listening, will fill the spiritual void, between the heart and mind, with more connection to the natural world and intuition. If the Eagle and the Condor will fly back together, wingtip to wingtip, the world will find its balance. Neither the Eagle's people, nor the people of the Condor, can survive on their own. This was the message that the wise elders of the land we have left, because according to the prophecy, everything is about to change.

Logline

A researcher, reading a book by an andean writer, finds link between the old and the Abruzzo ancient civilizations of Peru. He decides to go in Peruvian land, seeking and the writer of the ancient legends. He meets the writer and some shamans, making experiences that will change the course of life.

The film takes its title from an ancient prophecy Quechua, a legend known just as powerful: The profecía del Águila y del Condor ". The film written and directed by Germano Di Mattia, is inspired by the writings and research of the Peruvian writer Hernan Huarache Mamani, and will trip and the evolution of consciousness, in the heart of the realms of spirituality oldest in South America . The return of balance, represented dall'Aquila and Condor, will open its doors to the mysteries and a new Earth, to walk toward our dreams.

Information

Most of the documentary film will be shot in Peru, Lake Titicaca, Cusco, Puno, Machu Picchu and the Valley of Spirits.

In Italy, the filming will take place in the city of L'Aquila, in the Abruzzo region and its province. Shooting is scheduled in Spain, in Tarragona, Barcelona.

The DVD of the final film will offer special content of the film with a backstage, extras and interviews with experts and scholars in the spiritual and scientific fields, and of course a CD with the soundtrack of the film and the songs.

The film will be released  October 2016.

The start of production of the film in Spain, Perù and Italy is planned for the winter/spring of 2016.

Germano Di Mattia is an actor, director, singer and screenplay writer from Italy. His career starts when he's 16, he works as model and then stars in telefilms broadcasted by Mediaset and Rai. His popularity reaches its peak by the end of the eighties with tv series like Love me Licia where he features as the Bee Hive bass player. Many other achievements follow soon after - he's the soldier tenor in Captain Corelli's mandolin with Nicolas Cage and Penelope Cruz, directed by John Madden (Shakespeare in Love).
