Sono momenti difficili, li conosciamo tutti ormai.
Il coronavirus è piombato nelle nostre vite, costringendoci a fermarci e sconvolgendo tutte le nostre abitudini, anche le più piccole.
Il mondo della musica e degli spettacoli dal vivo è sicuramente uno dei più colpiti, da questa infinita tragedia.
Un anno intero di concerti cancellati, lavoro di mesi andato in fumo, investimenti congelati... uno scenario apocalittico del quale, al momento, non si vede la fine.

Ho speso mesi in silenzio, un po' per metabolizzare il colpo ricevuto, un po' per riflettere... sul futuro, su chi sono e chi vorrò ancora essere.
La musica è e resta la mia vita, così come lo strumento attraverso il quale posso parlare, elaborare e trasformare ciò che ho vissuto e che vivo, anche i momenti bui come questo, in un qualcosa di diverso.

È giunto il momento di scrivere ancora.
È un processo lungo, ma chi di voi mi conosce già, sa che tutto questo ha le sue ragioni.
Così come in passato, anche (e soprattutto) questa volta sento il bisogno di condividere con voi, e con tutti quelli che vorranno, questo momento.

Un nuovo lavoro, un nuovo album, che sarà pubblicato nel 2021 prima di essere (spero) portato in giro per il mondo, così come è accaduto con Abaton, Outrush e Room of Mirrors, i miei precedenti 3 album.

In un momento senza grandi certezze, una delle poche che ho è quella di aver costruito negli anni un bellissimo rapporto con molti di voi.

Sarà un lavoro decisamente diverso dai precedenti. Per la prima volta, e questo anche a causa del mood che la pandemia ci ha imposto, sarà un album in solo: non un comune solo, ma un progetto one-man-band. Oltre ai tasti del mio pianoforte, ci saranno anche i miei sintetizzatori e le mie divagazioni elettroniche. Il genere? Beh, chi mi conosce sa già che identificarne uno sarà complicato. Ma, comunque, sarà puro crossover.

Tutti possono supportare questo nuovo progetto partecipando con un contributo libero o preordinando, come in passato, una ricompensa: che sia un cd autografato, un biglietto per un futuro concerto, un pass backstage, o più di uno di questi.. fino ad un folle house-concert direttamente a casa propria (beh, quando tutto questo sarà di nuovo possibile, ovviamente..)

Ho bisogno di sentire che ci siete ancora, sperando di vivere e condividere ancora musica con voi, stretti in un nuovo bellissimo abbraccio, in una splendida sala da concerto.

Il futuro è ancora possibile.
La nuova musica sicuramente lo è.

These are hard times. We all already know them, unfortunately.
Coronavirus has fallen into our lives, forcing us to stop and upsetting all our habits, even the smallest ones.
The music and live entertainment world is definitely one of the most affected by this endless tragedy.
A whole year of deleted concerts, months and months of work went up in smoke, frozen investments ... a doomsday scenery which, at the time, has no end in sight.

I spent months in silence, on one hand to metabolize the blow, and on the other to reflect on the future, on who I am and who I will still want to be.
Music is and remains my life, as well as the instrument through which I can speak, elaborate and transform what I’ve lived and what I live - even dark moments like these ones - into something different.

It’s time to write again.
It is a long process but those who know me already know that all this has its own reasons.
As in the past, also (and especially) this time, I feel the need to share this moment with you and with all those who want to.

A new album, which will be released in 2021 before being (I hope) played all around the world, as happened for Abaton, Outrush and Room of Mirrors, my previous 3 albums.

In a moment without great assurances, one of the few that I have is of having built a beautiful connection with many of you, over the years.

It will be a very different project from the previous ones.
For the first time, and this also because of the mood that the pandemic has imposed on us, it will be a solo album: not an usual solo-piano, but a one-man-band project. In addition to my piano keys, there will also be my synthesizers and all my electronic stuff.
The genre? Well.. anyone who knows me already knows that identifying one will be complicated. But, anyway, it will be pure crossover.

Everyone can support this new project by participating with a free contribution or by pre-ordering, as in the past, a reward: it could be a signed cd, a ticket for a future concert, a backstage pass, or more than one of these… up to a crazy house-concert directly at home (well, when all this will be possible again, of course). 

I need to feel that you are still here, close to me,  hoping to live and share music with you again, in a new warm hug, in a beautiful concert hall.

Future is still possible.
New music certainly is.
